Prizes for Placings 1st to 8th.       -   Prize fund will be minimum €3000 per show.
Olympic Saddlery sponsors of:
•    €100 voucher plus rug to the winner of each leg,
•    €100 voucher to the Best Turned out horse of each leg
•    €100 Voucher to the performance of the day of each leg
•    €500 Voucher to the overall winner of the Connacht Grand Prix League plus a rug and Perpetual Trophy. 
•    €300 Voucher to the leading Lady Rider of the league.

Horse Sport Ireland will support the Connacht Grand Prix League with a Prize Fund of €3000 to the overall winner under the following criteria:
•    Horses must be registered in the Irish Horse Register with the breed code ISH or ID, and be by a stallion that is classified as ‘Approved’, ‘Supplementary Approved’ or ‘Preliminary Approved’ in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook or a stallion that is classified as ‘Class 1/RID’ in the Irish Draught Horse Studbook. Horses must also have their dam documented on their passport.
•    The horse must be the overall winner of the Connaught Region Grand Prix League.
•    The Breeding Prize will be divided between the owner and the breeder of the horse, with €2,500 going to the owner and €500 to the breeder.

Gain Horse Feeds/Brooklands Bedding  sponsors of:
•    The winner of each Grand Prix will receive 10 bags of Gain Horse feed.
•    The owner of the winning horse of the league will receive 50 bags of Gain Horse Feed.

Cavalor Horse Feeds & Supplements sponsors of:
•    Prizes to the leading Junior / Young Rider each day
•    Prizes to the overall leading junior/ young rider of the League

Rules
Points will be awarded as follows:
1st=10 points, 2nd=8 points, 3rd=7points, 4th =6 points, 5th=5 points, 6th=4 points, 7th=3 points, 8th=2 points, 9th=1 point, 10th= 1 point.
50% bonus points will be awarded at final Grand Prix, e.g. 1st 15 points, 2nd 12 points etc.
Course will be 1.30m (s)
Declarations to Mr. Tom Dixon on 087-2962299, not later than 2.00pm on Thursday prior to each show.
Late entries may be accepted with €10 fee and will go at the start of the drawn order.
Officials : Each show must have a Senior National Course Designer, Senior National Judge and an experienced starter.
Appeals: There will be an appeals committee comprising of the Senior Judge, the Chairman of the Connacht Region and the Chairman of the Connacht League Committee.
Start Time:   The Connacht League Grand Prix should start no later than 2.30pm.
The overall winner will be the Horse/Rider Combination gaining the most points throughout the League.
Any Horse gaining points with more than one rider will score separately with each rider.
Any rider gaining points with more than 1 horse will score separately as each horse/rider combination.
In the event of a tie for first place, the horse/rider placed highest in the final Grand Prix will be the winner.
