Points will be awarded as follows:
1st-10 points. 2nd-8 points. 3rd- 7 points. 4th – 6 points. 5th – 5 points. 6th – 4 points. 7th – 3 points. 8th – 2 points. 9th – 1p point. 10th – 1 point.
PRIZES FOR PLACINGS 1ST – 8TH.
50% bonus points will be awarded at final Grand Prix e.g 1st – 15 points. 2nd – 12 points etc.
Prize Fund will be minimum €3000- each Show.
Course will be 1.30m (s).

Declarations to Mr. Tom Dixon on 087 2962299, not later than 2.00pm on Thursday prior to each Show.
Late entries may be accepted with €10 fee and will go at the start of the drawn order.

OFFICIALS; Each show must have a Senior National Course Designer, Senior National Judge and experienced Starter.

APPEALS; There will be an appeals Committee comprising of the Senior Judge, the Chairman of the Connaught Region and the Chairman of the Connaught League Committee.

START TIME; The Connaught League Grand Prix should start no later than 2.30pm/

THE OVERALL WINNER WILL BE THE HORSE/RIDER COMBINATION GAINING THE MOST POINTS THROUGHOUT THE LEAGUE.

- Any horse gaining points with more than one rider will score separately with each rider.
- Any rider gaining points with more than one horse will score separately as each horse/rider combination.
- In the event of a tie for First Place, the horse/rider placed highest in the Final Grand Prix will be the winner.
- The winning rider will receive a 4x4 for one year sponsored by Paddy Connolly, €1000 sponsored by Turlough Nurseries.
- The owner of the winning horse will receive 50 bags of Gain Horse Feed
- The winner of each Grand Prix will receive 10 bags of Gain Horse Feed and Jacket.
- Olympic Saddlery will sponsor €100 voucher to the best placed Junior or Young Rider, €100 voucher to the best placed Irish Bred Horse and €100 voucher to the best turned out horse and rider each day.
- In addition the winner of the Connaught League will receive a €500 voucher and the best placed Irish Bred horse in the Connaught League will receive a voucher of €300 also sponsored by Olympic Saddlery.
