League Information
ShowjumpingIreland wishes to strongly emphasise to Show Organisers, the need to start classes on time and to ensure they run in a timely manner without delay. There is also a strong onus and duty on riders to co-operate by coming into the ring to compete when requested by the Judges to do so. Failure to comply with these requests may result in a Judge having to exert their authority in what ever way they see fit to prevent to assist with the running of a class. In this regard ShowjumpingIreland also wishes to advise Judges that they have a duty to the sport to implement the rules and thereby play their part in avoiding unnecessary delays.
Coloured Jackets
In order to maintain the approved dress code for show jumping, riders who wear coloured jackets other than those listed in the Rule Book – Navy, Black, Grey, or Tweed – are requested to apply to the S.J.I. for permission to wear non standard coloured jackets.
Chin Straps For Adults
In the interests of safety, which is a priority for ShowjumpingIreland, riders are recommended to always ensure their chin straps are fastened correctly. Not only is this important from the safety aspect, it is also an important example for children who observe the behaviour of adult riders.
