2010 Registration of horses
As all horses must be microchipped in 2010 Horses may attend Pony Measuring Venues for this procedure.
For animals previously registered but not micro chipped, photocopies of marking sheet in passport (accompanied by animal’s name and registered owner’s name and contact details) or original passport must be sent to the office showing new micro chip number before the registration can be processed. Horse Passports do not have to be submitted to the SJI office for re-registration if previously micro chipped unless there is a change of ownership or points are to be updated.
