Please be advised the Rules for Jumping Events, 23rd Edition (updated 1st January 2010) 
and the Rules for Jumping Championships and Olympic Games, 23rd Edition (updated 1st January 2010) are now available for download from the HSI website horsesportireland.ie
 

Rule Amendments 2009
Please note the following rules changes:

Amateurs
Article 1.4.1 Amateurs competing above 1.20m hors concours are in breach of Amateur
Rule 1.4
Article 1.7.1 A horse cannot be ridden by two riders in the same class

Horses
Article 254N.1. 1.3.3. NEW
A horse having competed in a Premier Series Grand Prix competition will be regarded as a 1.50m. horse for banding purposes, and will therefore be restricted to competing in 1.30m., 1.40m., and 1.50m. height bands.
The right to apply for down banding, should it be found the animal cannot cope at this level, remains as currently stated in Article 254N. 1.3.2. above.
