WATERFORD/TIPPERARY AWARDS NIGHT 2012 - Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Waterford/Tipperary Showjumping Awards Night to be held at The Park Hotel Dungarvan on Sat 4th Febuary. MC for the night is Frank Mulvihill and music is by The Mad Hatters.Tickets costing €30.00 per adult and 20.00 per U16 are available from the following committee members Francis Connors, Michael Moloney, Patricia Lalor, Peter Oates, Mairead Flynn and Yvonne Raeburn. Fines 2010

All members please be aware that Fine letters will be issued to those who have not complied with the Rules of ShowjumpingIreland.

The fines will be issued as follows

1^st Offence - Warning letter

2^nd Offence - €50 fine

3^rd Offence - €100 fine

4^th Offence – suspension for a period to be determined, or fine of not less than €600

Please note all members are advised that they should make themselves familiar with the ShowjumpingIreland National Jumping Rules. See above to download Rule Book.

Horse Sport Ireland - Rules for Jumping Events

Please be advised the Rules for Jumping Events, 23rd Edition (updated 1st January 2010)
and the Rules for Jumping Championships and Olympic Games, 23rd Edition (updated 1st January 2010) are now available for download from the HSI website horsesportireland.ie

Rule Amendments 2009

Rule Amendments 2009
Please note the following rules changes:

Amateurs
Article 1.4.1 Amateurs competing above 1.20m hors concours are in breach of Amateur
Rule 1.4
Article 1.7.1 A horse cannot be ridden by two riders in the same class

Horses
Article 254N.1. 1.3.3. NEW
A horse having competed in a Premier Series Grand Prix competition will be regarded as a 1.50m. horse for banding purposes, and will therefore be restricted to competing in 1.30m., 1.40m., and 1.50m. height bands.
The right to apply for down banding, should it be found the animal cannot cope at this level, remains as currently stated in Article 254N. 1.3.2. above.
