Derbymed Amateur Spring Tour 2020

Showjumping Ireland are delighted to announce the Launch of a new Amateur Spring Tour kindly sponsored by Derbymed. The tour will consist of 6 legs nationwide running from February 2020 – April 2020 and will run on a league table basis with points and a half allocated at the final.
The final will be held at Coilog Equestrian on the 19th April 2020 in conjunction with the Showjumpers Club Spring Tour Grand Prix final where over €2000 worth of prizes will be on offer kindly sponsored by Derbymed.

• 23^rd February 2020 : Cavan Equestrian Centre

• 15^th March 2020 : Killossery Lodge Stud

• 17^th March 2020 : Meadows Equestrian

• 29^th March 2020: Kernans Equestrian

• 9th April 2020 : JAG Equestrian 

• 12^th April 2020 : Mullingar Equestrian

• Final : 19^th April 2020 : Coilog Equestrian Centre

Rules/Criteria

• The Spring Tour will be run on a league format with points being awarded 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for placing one to six at each venue and 1 point being allocated for a non-placing appearance.

• Entries to SJI office before 4pm Thursday with fee of €10 per entry per class (SJI rules) NB Please pay your money before 3pm on Thursday. Declaration will be made to Showjumping Ireland before 4pm on Thursday or as advertised in SJI Bulletin or Website prior to show with no exceptions.

•  A horse / rider combination is only allowed accumulate points at one show on any one day.
• There will be points and a half awarded at the Spring Tour Final and the combination with the most points accumulated throughout the league will be deemed the Derbymed Spring Tour Winner.
• In the event of a tie the overall league winner will be decided by the horse / rider combination with the highest placing at the final. 
• A rider is eligible for one prize only in the final league placings (excluding best turned out, novelty prize etc.) and must be present on the day of the final for presentation.
