The Horse Sport Ireland/Connolly’s RED MILLS Spring Tour features two league rounds this weekend, in Co Kildare and Co Louth.

 

Kildare International Equestrian Centre will host the second round of the series tomorrow (Saturday), and among the twenty-eight horses and riders on the start-list are Galway’s Olive Clarke and Kilkenny’s Anna Carway, who both featured among the top places at the opening round in Cavan on Sunday.

 

Saturday’s competition carries a prize fund of €2,500 sponsored by Kildare International Equestrian Centre, with the Spring Tour Grand Prix getting underway at 2.30pm.

 

The HSI/Connolly’s RED MILLS Spring Tour then moves to Co Louth on Sunday, with Ravensdale lodge playing host to a further forty – four horses and riders. The list at Ravensdale includes last week’s winner Daniel Coyle, along with Emily Turkington, who filled both second and third places in the opening round at Cavan.

 

O Reillys Wholesale Newry sponsor Sunday’s round of the series, with €2,500 on offer in the main event which starts at 3pm.

 

The Horse Sport Ireland/Connollys RED MILLS Spring Tour, is also supported by the Show Jumpers Club, ShowjumpingIreland, Castlefield Sport Horses and Darragh Equestrian Solutions.
