A busy day at Cavan Equestrian Centre saw a late start to the fifth leg of the Horseware/TRM Grand Prix League 2014

50 riders took on Claus Holle's track on a day that the fantastic indoor facilities in Cavan were very much appreciated.  18 competitors had clear rounds to put them through to the jump off

Last to jump, it was on form Vincent Byrne who took the top spot with James Weldon's Mr Rockefeller, the 10 year old Gelding by ARD VDL Douglas out of a King's Servant mare.

A super round in 37.42 saw off the competition and this combination have now claimed three victories from five with last year's league winner Greg Broderick winning the other two.

The 2014 League now stays in the North and moves to Ravensdale for the sixth leg on May 25th.
