Greg Broderick has secured a second successive TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League Title ahead of the Final leg, having won on Saturday at Coilog with Noel Cawley's Rincarina.
The Cruising mare was collecting her second win of the League, the first of these also coming at Coilog in early May.
This time around, Broderick had a hard fight on his hands courtesy of Tholm Keane and Warrenstown You 2 in the 4,000 Equestpramox sponsored penultimate leg of the TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League. Such is the form that Broderick is in currently that he was still able to put almost two seconds between himself and Keane.
Stopping the clock in 42.28, Broderick scored for the sixth time this season having won at Barnadown, Galway County, Charleville and Cork Summer Show along with both legs at Coilog and puts a gap of 17 points ahead of Tholm Keane to ensure that he cannot be caught in this year's League once more.
Tholm Keane lead the chasing pack with Warrenstown You 2 and slots into second following yet another double clear round from the Narcos Stallion and they broke the beam at 44.06 to take second.
Alexander Butler showed that Will Wimble was in good form ahead of the Premier Series Final recording a fine double clear in 44.19 to take third place.
Coilog has been a happy hunting ground for Liam O'Meara of late, having won the Premier Series Grand Prix at the South County Show and he steered Mr Coolcaum into fourth place with a time of 44.97.
Edward Doyle and Samgemjee are another pairing that are sure to have a say in the Premier Series Final and they marked their good vein of form keeping all the fences intact in the slightly slower time of 45.92.
Darryl Walker and Alfurist filled the line up in sixth place, also jumping double clear in a time of 47.14.
Although the TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League is all sown up with Greg Broderick set to be crowned Champion once more, there is still one leg remaining in Barnadown on September 7th at the Irish Breeders Classic Show.
