Over the last number of years, the TRI Equestrian RDS Pony classes have shown their wealth with such names as Susan Fitzpatrick, Bertram Allen and Michael Duffy going on to excel at the European Championships, World Cup and Youth Olympics. For many, the highlight of the week, for excitement, is the 128cm final which is held on Friday evening following the Aga Khan. The class provides spectators with something memorable each year, rivaling the atmosphere of a Leinster match on home soil.

Philip Masterson of TRI Equestrian commented that he is delighted to be associated with the future of the sport; ‘’TRI Equestrian is excited to announce our commitment to the RDS Pony Qualifiers for the next 3 years. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our up and coming riders for the future.’’

Liz Brennan, Chairperson of the ShowjumpingIreland Pony Committee commented; ‘’I am delighted to announce this lucrative sponsorship agreement with TRI Equestrian. They have been fantastic supporters of Irish Showjumping for many years, and it is great that they are supporting the youth of the sport.’’

Irish Sport TV will be covering this year’s opening round which takes place at Cavan Equestrian Centre this weekend. It is hoped that with parents’ permission Irish Sport TV will interview a number of our up and coming superstars!

Looking forward to seeing you all there.
