Success for Byrne at Bannow Rathangan

Vincent Byrne won his first National Grand Prix of the season at Bannow & Rathangan show with Mr. Rockerfeller providing a double clear in a time of 40.87. Second to go in the jump off, Byrnes time proved unbeatable to the rest.

Check out his interview

Captain Geoff Curran set the pace first into the ring in the seven man jump off and set a fast pace of 41.92, which was good enough for second place in the line up.

Darryl Walker and Kiss N Fly were last to go in the jump off and kept all ences standing in a time of 44.25, which left him in third position.

Mark O'Sullivan and Thatz Amore was the last of the double clears of the day in the line-up with a time of 52.70.

Francis Connors and Hyperion were very unlucky with one fence falling in the second round and a good time of 42.04 to keep hold of fifth place, with Gemma Phelan and GRC hot on his heels following with less than a second between the two to secure a sixth place line up finish.
