REIGNING CHAMPION TAKES SECOND WIN TO LEAD NATIONAL GRAND PRIX LEAGUE

Reigning TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League Champion, Greg Broderick took his second win of this years campaign at Barnadown in Gorey this afternoon.

Riding Golden Exchange for Noel Cawley, for who Broderick won last weekend with Rincarina, the Tipperary rider beat of 10 combinations to win the class sponsored by Ballywalter Farms. Broderick stopped the clock in 43.21 to take the win.

Joan Greene once again had to chase Broderick having taken second and third behind the same rider at Coilog last week.

This time riding her own Chipigal, Greene recorded a time almost three seconds slower than the eventual winner in 46.14.
Veteran gelding Merlins Magic slotted into third for his new pilot, Stephen Moore who placed during the Spring Tour on the former Francis Connors mount.
