Landers scores the double at Portmore

Jamie Landers found himself in the line-up once again during this weekend’s TopSpec Autumn Grand Prix series, this time finding top position with Maria Forbes’ Valitor De Blagny with a double clear in a time of 38.08.

Landers also found himself second on the day with his other mount, Castleforbes Violette who stopped the clock fractionally slower in a time of 38.18.

Suzanne Posnett and Foesuela have once again found themselves in the placings, being successful previously in Portmore and Cavan 1.35m classes.  Posnett left all poles standing on the Rafael Suarez built track in a time of 39.33 to secure third place.

Philip Gaw secured four more points to his tally on the leaderboard with Ardnacashel Coovelle in the run up to the final leg of the series stopping the clock in a time of 42.20.

Although Robert Harrison managed to secure the fastest time on the day of 36.50, an unfortunate fence down left him in fifth place. This has left Harrison and Landlystes Rubina with just a six point lead ahead of Gaw coming into the final leg.

Another top time was posted by Paul Carberry and Brandonview First Edition with 36.54, but again with one fence on the ground Carberry had to settle for sixth place. This still added to his tally of points so far and leaves him six points behind the runner up spot of the league.
