Important information regarding fence heights in the Pony Premier League

 

Please note that in the Pony Premier League whilst the classes are advertised as Under 10 128cm – 85cm; 128 – 1.15m; 138 – 1.25m; 148 – 1.35m, the first round of the competitions will actually be Under 10 128cm – 80cm; 128 – 1.10m; 138 – 1.20m and 148 – 1.30m

 

This League is open to 128cm, 138cm and 148cm ponies with 140+ points by 30th April 2017 competing over the following fence heights:

Under 10 128cm  – 85cm      128cm – 1.15m       138cm  -  1.25m      148cm  -  1.35m

 

Rules

 

  • The competition will be run under Articles 273.2.2; 273.3.4; 273.4.4
  • This will be a 3 round competition where all clear rounds or 25% of starters will jump again in the second round
  • Course Designer will be Senior National or above
  • Please Note Under 10 128cm  – 85cm league points will be awarded as follows and SJI points will be allocated as normal

  • Please note new point’s allocation for the Pony Premier League 128cm – 1.15m                   138cm  -  1.25m      148cm  -  1.35m.

  • Points will be awarded are for the athlete and where the athlete gains more than one place, the highest place points only will be awarded
  • Points are not transferred down the line
  • Ponits plus 1/2 will be awarded in the final
  • Athletes in the 128cm category may only declare for the Under 10 sector or the 128 1.10m but may switch categories throughout the League.   The declared 128cm pony may only compete in one 128cm competition on the day.
  • No undeclared competitor will be permitted to compete
  • Competitors will not be permitted to use Temporary Tickets or jump Hors Concours
  • Substitution: with the permission of the Ground Jury the athlete may substitute a pony.  No substitution of athlete is permitted
  • Athletes may compete on a maximum of 3 ponies in each class
  • To be eligible for a placing in overall League, those athletes in contention must compete in two qualifiers and the Final
  • Start lists will appear on the S.J.I website on Thursday/Friday prior to the Show
  • In the event of a tie, the overall winner of the Pony Premier League will be the highest placed athlete on the final day

All Declarations require a €10 pre-booking fee and can ONLY be accepted online through www.sji.ie by midday Wednesday preceding the Show.
