Rules 2026
- The aim of Pathway Series is to act as a bridging class for 148cm ponies and riders to further advance them on their Pathway to competing in the 148 Pony Premier class.
- It will be ran under Timed Article 274.5.2.8N Two Phase Modified - Phase 2 Against The Clock.
- The total prize fund is approx €5000. Including league prizes. (€1000 Final & €500 per leg).
- Combinations must compete in the PRL Pathway Series Final to be eligible for League prizes.
- To qualify for the final, combinations must have competed in at least one leg of the PRL Pathway series to qualify for prizes.
- Fence heights will be 1.20m.
- Combination based.
- Points will be awarded to the top 10 eligible combinations as follows....1st place receives 10 points, 2nd 9 points...10th place receives 1 point.
- If a combination becomes ineligible their name will be removed from the leaderboard, however points will not be changed.
- No minimum or maximum points requirement.
- Any combination placed in top 6 in a 148 Pony Premier or qualifies for the RDS 148 Grade A class in the current year will NOT be eligible for Pathway League prizes.
- Any combination that has taken part in the European Team Pony Trials in the current year is not eligible for the PRL Pathway Series.
- Pathway Series to run as a supporting class at The Ballinroe Pony Premier venues.
- The final will be held at the National Pony Championships in Mullingar.
