NOTES - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ENTRIES (See above) – All classes in Allianz Arena ONLY on Thursday must be pre-entered to entries@sji.ie or by post on the General Entry Form to ShowjumpingIreland, Beech House, Millennium Park, Osberstown, Naas, Co. Kildare by Friday 14th August. Entries for first classes in other arenas on Thursday will close on site at 9.30a.m.

NOTE: Please note where there is reference to ‘declarations’ these must be made online or by phone to SJI Office and are NOT considered as ‘Entries’ which must be made on the General Entry Form or to ‘entries@sji.ie’

STARTLISTS – Startlists will be drawn for the first class in the Allianz Arena on Thursday.
Entries for Friday, Saturday and Sunday to be made the preceding evening at the Show before 6.30p.m. where possible. Completed ticket and ticket stub to be submitted.

Discount Package for entries (Ponies only): discount. Over €500 – 10%€300 - €5005%

STABLING – to be booked through Mullingar E.C.

PONY INFORMATION:

Note 1: Starfinder – Top 25 combinations overall out of classes 1 and 22 will qualify for the Allianz Starfinder Final on Sunday. Athletes may only qualify two animals for the Final.

Note 2: Young 4/5 Pony Discovery Final – Class 24 for 4 and 5 Year Old ponies to be judged over a course of fences.
Top 10 will be called back for further viewing with a possible further callback.

Note 3: Pony/athlete combinations which compete in classes 52, 53 & 55 may not compete in classes 65, 63 & 59.

Note 4: Points will be awarded to the Pony athlete/ combination commencing with 100 points for 1st place and decreasing accordingly.

PRIZE MONEY – paid by S.J.I. Office after the Show
€200 bonus if same pony/athlete combination wins Premier Class and same height Championship class.

To be eligible for prize money in Sunday’s classes the
Athlete must compete on 2 days during Thurs/Fri/Sat in any class on any pony.

The Organisers reserve the right to amend the schedule

ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEAD AT ALL TIMES

YOUNG RIDER INFORMATION:

1) The Committee reserve the right to move classes at show

2) Pro Am at the Young Riders Championship is a person who is a full time student or does not make their living from riding horses

3) Championships: Points will be awarded for each class with winner gaining 100 pts and 2nd 99 etc. Points and a half will be awarded in the finals for the overall “Champion of the Show” in the different sections; Young Riders, Juniors & COH

4) It is the responsibility of the trainers/parents to watch for any changes to the schedules each day

5) Entries to be made to Showjumping Ireland for Thurs. competition. Late entries will strictly jump first in competition. Entries for Sat & Sun may be made at show before 6pm the evening before the event.

SJI reserves the right to move competitions between arenas and the reschedule the time of classes, and adjust the schedule should the necessity arise.

All Double Clears in events 1,2,3,14, 15 and 17 in will Qualify for the Final on Sunday.

Only Combinations NOT Qualified for a Final may compete in the Consolation Classes. This will be a 1 Round Speed Competition.

The 1.30m Championship will be for the National Young Rider Championship Title. It will be run on a Points Basis over Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Points and a Half for Sunday.

Points will be awarded to a Horse/Rider Combination in descending order from 100 points awarded for 1st place, 99 for 2nd, 98 points for 3rd and so on.

Starting Order for the Finals - Combinations will start in reverse order of merit in the Finals.

Global Entry for 1.30m riders is €100 per horse

The Global Entry Fee does not include Stabling.

Hook up must be booked through the SJI office.

Young Rider Championships are now open to under 25 year old riders with the exception of classes in the National Development League and team events, they must mark their tickets Under 25 if they are over 21years of age.

Competitors who have competed at 1.50m and above will jump a raised course in the 1.20 and 1.30 championship finals.

There will be a final qualifier for all sections of the National Development League on Friday 22nd August at the National Championships. These will be Events 1,2,3. A total of 15 previously unqualified combinations will qualify. They will compete in the final in reverse order of merit with an open draw taking place for the already prequalified combinations who will jump at the end of the draw.

The Young Rider Committee will cover the entry fees associated with the Team Event.

The Overall National Young Rider Champion will receive an International Training bursary to the USA which includes flights, accommodation and training.

The overall Junior Champion (under 18) will receive an International Training bursary to the USA which includes flights, accommodation and training.

The winners of the 1.15m and 1.25m Development League Finals will each receive a Training Bursary which includes accommodation and training.

The winner of the 1.15 and 1.25 Championship Finals will each receive a Training Bursary which includes accommodation and training.

Event 9 will determine the Children on Horses National Champion. Sponsored by Liffey Van Lines inc.
