***ENTRIES***
Entries Close Friday 14th June. All Entries & Stables MUST be booked online through www.cavanequestrian.com with Full Stable & Hook-Up Fees & a €20 per animal NON-REFUNDABLE booking fee will be deducted- Balance for entries will be payable at the show.
***LATE ENTRIES***
€10 CHARGE ON ALL LATE ENTRIES DURING SHOW, YOU MUST JUMP FIRST IN CLASS, ALL PROCEEDS GO TO CYSTIC FIBROSIS, CAVAN
THIS IS FOR PONY / RIDER COMBINATION ALREADY ENTERED FOR THE SHOW.
***WITHDRAWALS & CHANGES***
If you are entered for a class & do not intend to compete in it,
The following times are the deadlines for you to contact the office to withdraw,
Otherwise a €5 penalty will be charged
• Tuesday 2nd July @ 4pm for all classes on Thursday 4th July
• Thursday 4th July @ 4pm for all classes on Friday 5th July
• Friday 5th July @ 4pm for all classes on Saturday 6th July
• Saturday 6th July @ 4pm for all classes on Sunday 7th July
***STABLING & HOOK UP***
Stables: €90 x 3 Nights, €105 x 4 Nights, €120 x 5 Nights.
Hook up: €20 Per Night
Gates to the Centre will close on Wednesday 3rd July @ 9pm. Please Note: 50% of stable fee will be retained if stables are not cancelled 7 days prior to the Show & 100% retained if not cancelled within 24 hours.
Stabling Policy: Whilst we are trying to avoid implementing a €10 deposit on each stable we would be grateful if everyone could make the effort to clean their stable before they leave the showground. They will be checked the following day and anyone leaving the stables in a poor state will be charged €20.
***IRISH DEBUT TEAM QUALIFICATION/CRITERIA:
• Rider to never have competed on a Home Pony 148cm Team.
• Rider to have never competed on an International Irish Pony Team.
• Combination to have never competed in the 148cm pony classes at Dublin Horse Show.
• Top 4 Rider/Pony Combinations from Events 5 & 19. In the event of Rider/Pony Combination tying on points the highest placed combination from events 19 will gain the place
***RULES***
• For all classes, pony & rider must compete two days out of Thurs, Fri, Sat
to be eligible to jump on Sunday – No exceptions.
• Age for 128 Under 10’s Competitors – Must be under 10 as of 1st January 2019
• All classes are timed except for 128 – 70cm & 128 – 80cm
• Competitors CAN NOT jump in the 128 Under 10’s Grand Prix & the 128 Grand Prix
***IRISH TEAM SELECTION***
• Points will be awarded in the following classes:
• 128 Under 10’s – Ev 8 & 25 – 128cms – Ev 2 & 14 – 138cms – Ev 3 & 16 – 148cms – Ev 4 & 17
• Points will be awarded to 1st – 10th
• 1st – 10, 2nd – 9, 3rd – 8, 4th – 7, 5th – 6, 6th – 5, 7th – 4, 8th – 3, 9th – 2, 10th – 1st
• The top 4 riders with highest points from events above will then be selected to jump on the team
• In the case of tie, the highest placed rider on Friday will take the place
***PRIZES***
• €12,000 IN PRIZES & PRIZE FUND
• Cavan Cooler to winner in each class every day
•Draw in 128-70cm & 128-80cm
PLEASE NOTE PRIZE MONEY MUST BE CLAIMED @ THE SHOW
NO PRIZE MONEY WILL BE POSTED AFTER THE SHOW.
***PARENTS/GUARDIANS PLEASE NOTE***
CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES
NO SEGWAYS, SCOOTERS, QUADS, SKATEBOARDS, GO-CARTS, BICYCLES ETC ALLOWED ON GROUNDS
ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES
