Glencarraig Lady League 2026

·       Competition for 128 and 138 ponies.

·       Athlete age(a) under 9 and (b) under 11 years old.

·       300 Points required to qualify.

·       Final will be held at Coilog Equestrian Centre on Monday 3rd August.

·       Combination of pony & rider may not have competed at Dublin Horse Show. Other family members may ride a pony that has competed at Dublin Horse Show.

·       It is the responsibility of the owners to keep track of the results for each combination.

·       The decision of the Glencarraig Lady League committee is final with regard to qualifications and rules etc.

·       - 50 pts: double clear round.
- 10 points: for starting the competitions.
- 10 points: finish 1^st round regardless of faults.
- 10 points: finish 2nd round regardless of faults.
- 10 points: 1^st round clear.
- 10 points: 2^nd round clear.

How to enter a League Show if not a member of SJI:

·       You do not have to be a fully paid member of SJI in the current calendar year in order to compete on the day

·       Go to Showjumping Ireland main website www.sji.ie

·       Click on Members > New Members > Sign up for a New Account (will take approximately 2/3 minutes)

·       Keep a record of your membership/account number and password, as these will be needed to then make a separate entry on SJI Live

·       To enter, go to to SJI Live (www.sjilive.ie) and login using your new membership number and password details

·       Search for show

·       Click on ‘Buy a temp ticket’ and enter rider/pony details

·       Pay, and congratulations - you have successfully entered! 

General Notes on the League:

·       Running orders: Startlists as per SJI Live are indicative of class times. These may change throughout the day at the discretion of the Show – it is the competitor’s responsibility to keep track of class times in the event of changes. The order of jumping in each class may be determined by the starter on the gate using a board system. All classes will be run under Showjumping Ireland rules.

·       Eligibility: To be eligible for league prizes, combinations must compete in at least one league leg and must compete in the Final.

·       League Points / Score Leaderboard: In Novice (non-timed) classes, 5 (League) points for double clears, 2 for one clear round, 1 for appearance. In Open (i.e. timed) classes, 1^st Place = 6 points, 2^nd Place = 5 points, 3^rd Place = 4 points, 4^th/5^th/6^th Place or double clears outside placings = 3 points, appearance = 1 point. The allocation of points and competitor leaderboard is available for viewing on the noticeboard at Warrington throughout the duration of the league. Any queries regarding point allocations should be brought no later than Saturday 5th July, and not on the day of the Final. League points attach to the same horse/pony and rider combination.

·       Leading Horse/Pony & Rider Award: Will be awarded for each individual class. In the event of a joint lead for Leading Rider titles (i.e. two riders on equal points at the Final), the Leading Rider title will be awarded to higher placed competitor on the day.

·       Health & Safety: No persons under the age of 16 permitted on foot in warmup areas. Competitors are asked to take all reasonable safety precautions while on the Showgrounds.

·       Queries: Any queries in relation to results/points/scores etc should be brought to the attention of the Judges within 30 minutes of the class closing.
