Return Of Popular Ulster Region Tours

Sunday, 26th March will see the return of the Ulster Region Pony Spring Tour kicking off 10 qualifying legs including the final at the Meadows Equestrian Centre. This year TRI Equestrian NI have teamed up with Baileys Horse feeds and the Ulster Region Showjumping to offer competitors a very substantial and attractive prize fund.

An added incentive for pony riders to compete on time has been backed by the Ulster region pony committee whereby the 1st two competitors into the ring in the 1st class will jump for free by receiving their entry fee back.

Pony and rider combinations must compete in a minimum of 4 qualifying legs in open series and 3 in novice series to be eligible for prizes in the final.

Ulster Region Summer Tour (Horses)

Following the success of the Ulster Region Summer Tour last year, Ulster Region Showjumping are happy to announce 14 dates for 2017 qualifying legs. New exciting classes have been added to the programme for this year’s series with the addition of a 90cm class and for the competitive young rider a 1m15 and 1m25 class with substantial prize fund, has also been included. With a vast amount of talent in the region amongst the young riders these classes are sure to be a welcome and exciting addition. Horse and rider combinations must compete in a minimum 7 qualifying legs to be eligible for prize money in the final. (With the exception of the 90cm, 1m15 and 1m25 classes where 5 qualifying legs must be jumped).

Both finals will be hosted by the McCusker Family’s superb facility in Lurgan, The Meadows Equestrian Centre.
