“2014 so far has been an extraordinary year for show jumping in Ulster Region and National Balmoral Championships will be no exception”, says Ray Buchanan Show Director. “In 2013 we moved to the stunning Balmoral Park and staged our championships at our new home for the very first time in 27 years of competition. Months of planning and fine tuning have been invested into ensuring the 2014 National Balmoral Championships are the biggest equestrian event in Northern Ireland, with a revamped competition schedule, increased prize fund, top arena conditions, extended shopping village and the introduction of a new hospitality area, which will appeal to a more varied audience of equestrian enthusiasts and show jumping fans. We are all looking forward to the start of the Championships, and to seeing the very best horses/ponies and riders compete in the heart of Northern Ireland.”

For a fantastic family fun day out watching the very best show jumping right on your doorstep with plenty of other attractions outside the competition arenas, the 28th National Balmoral Championship 13th – 16th July has everything on offer with fantastic shopping in the Balmoral Equestrian Shopping Village, entertainment and dining.
