Showjumping Ireland is excited to announce the Chillax National Young Pony League 2015 which kicks off this weekend at Galway Equestrian Centre.
The concept was developed by the National Pony Committee after requests from its members who saw a need for a young pony league that would benefit the production of young ponies within the sport. Liz Brennan, chairperson of the National Pony Committee is, ‘’Thrilled to see this new pony league introduced for the 2015 season and looks forward to developing a long term working relationship with our new sponsor’’.
The league is open to 128cm, 138cm and 148cm ponies. Classes will be run as 4&5 year old and 6&7 year old competitions, with 6 qualifiers taking place at Pony Premier Series venues and a grand finale at the Irish Breeders Classic in Barnadown.
