THE FINAL leg of the 2013 ISH Studbook Showjumping Series got underway at the Tattersalls Ward Union Hunt Show, 27th & 28th July.
Thirteen horses qualified for the jump off in the 5 Year Old Final and coming out on top with a double clear round in a time of 42.64 seconds was the Irish Sport Horse colt TKS Timeline by Hermes De Reve (SF), ridden by Clem McMahon. Jackie Oh (ISH) and Greg Broderick took second place in the Final in a time of 43.43 seconds.
The overall winner of the 5 Year Old ISH Studbook League on a total of 25 points was Declan Orpen’s Arraghbeg Clover (ISH) by Captain Clover (ISH) ridden by Greg Broderick. Second place in the league on 20 points went to Mini Cruzano (ISH) by Silvano (KWPN) ridden by Thomas O'Brien.
In the 6 Year Old Final only four out of 25 horses that started in the Final made it through to the jump off. Bens Lady Lux (ISH) and Shannon McKenzie took first prize just ahead of Codarco (ISH) and Thomas O’Brien. Codaro(ISH) finished as overall winner of the 6 Year Old ISH Studbook League on a total of 34 points. Thomas O’Brien also took 2nd and 3rd place in the 6 Year Old League with his mounts Sportsfiled Eterina and Hector Van D’Abdijheove (BWP) respectively.
In the 7 Year Old Final 8 out of 25 horses that stated went through to an exciting jump-off which saw MHS Prime Time (ISH) an Eddie Moloney take first place on a time of 31.96. Following closely behind was Clinton Jack (ISH) and Shane McFadden on a time of 33.39. Clinton Jack (ISH) was also the overall winner of the 2013 7 Year Old ISH Studbook League finishing on 48 points, 19 points clear of Morning De Reve (ISH) and Declan Egan who took second place overall.
