Jordan Coyle took his first win in a National Grand Prix this afternoon when claiming the tenth leg of the TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League as League Leader, Greg Broderick moved further clear at the top of the table.
Coyle claimed his win today at a new venue to the National Grand Prix League in The Meadows Equestrian Centre in Lurgan, Co Armagh as he steered Fiona Carson's The Windmill Master to victory.

Stable Rider to Peter Smyth, Coyle was foot perfect in both rounds to take the lions share of the €4,000 put up for grabs by ADIT Services.  Riding the former mount of his boss, Peter Smyth, The Windmill Master crossed the line in 42.13 to take the win.

Current TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League leader and reigning Champion Greg Broderick extended his lead further clear at the top of the table as he slotted the extremely exciting MHS Going Global into second place, exactly 1 second adrift of the winner.
Broderick has heaped praise on the son of Quidam Junior all season and he is a horse to look out for as the season progresses.  MHS Going Global has been produced by Broderick up to Grand Prix level and is a regular competitor in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Series for 7 Year Olds.
James Hogg is another name that is seen regularly throughout the ISH Studbook Series and with his 8 Year Old Cruising gelding, Interpreter, the pair took third place with a double clear round in 44.61.

Thomas O'Brien and Valentino T were another combination to record a double clear, however the pair were slightly slower in 44.76.

Greg Broderick had the winning of the class with Mrs Quinn having recorded a time of 40.72 but for a fence on the floor to keep them off the top spot.  Mrs Quinn won the National Grand Prix League at Galway County recently and having won four legs of the league in 2012, she appears to be hitting top form once more.
Frank Curran completed the line up with Bovean Stables's New World, another on four faults, the pair broke the beam at 41.68.

The next leg of the TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League takes place on Sunday at the Charleville Show where Greg Broderick will be out in force once more as he bids for back to back wins in the TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix League.
